Withdrawal Policy

The Asian Journal of Public Health recognizes that authors may occasionally need to withdraw a manuscript after submission. Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to the editorial office and should include a valid reason for withdrawal. Manuscripts under review may be withdrawn without penalty if the request is made before any peer review reports are finalized. However, once a manuscript has completed the peer review process or has been formally accepted, withdrawal is discouraged and may be subject to editorial review, especially if fees have already been paid or resources invested in processing the manuscript. Withdrawal of a manuscript after acceptance may affect the author’s ability to submit future work to the journal. AJPH ensures that all withdrawal requests are handled fairly, transparently, and in accordance with publication ethics, protecting both authors’ rights and the integrity of the journal.
