Licensing Policy

The RBC Journal of Sociology of Health and Illness provides its published content under a transparent and flexible licensing framework to ensure proper use, sharing, and distribution of scholarly work. All articles accepted for publication are licensed to the public under a Creative Commons license (typically CC BY or as specified by the journal at the time of publication), allowing readers to freely access, download, and share the work, provided proper credit is given to the authors and the journal. Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal a license to publish and disseminate it. Any reuse, adaptation, or commercial use of published material requires clear attribution and adherence to the terms of the specified license. This licensing policy ensures both broad accessibility of research and protection of authors’ intellectual property rights, promoting ethical and responsible scholarly communication.
