Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal Policy

The RBC Journal of Sociology of Health and Illness allows authors to request withdrawal of their manuscript at any stage of the submission or review process. Requests must be submitted in writing to the editorial office, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal. Manuscripts can be withdrawn before the completion of peer review without penalty, and any paid publication fees may be partially refunded at the discretion of the editorial office. Once a manuscript has been accepted or is in production, withdrawal requests are generally not eligible for refund, as substantial editorial and production resources will have been committed. The journal maintains records of all withdrawals to prevent duplicate submissions and to uphold the integrity of the publication process. Withdrawal decisions are handled fairly, transparently, and in accordance with ethical publishing standards.
