Plagiarism Policy

The RBC Journal of Sociology of Health and Illness maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts must represent original work and must not have been published elsewhere or be under consideration by another journal. The journal employs plagiarism detection tools to screen submissions for copied text, data, images, or ideas. Any instance of plagiarism—whether intentional or unintentional—may result in rejection of the manuscript, notification of the authors’ institutions, and, in serious cases, a ban on future submissions. Authors are responsible for properly citing all sources and obtaining necessary permissions for reproduced content. This policy upholds the integrity of scholarly publishing and ensures that credit is appropriately given to the original creators of research.
